LEGO Party is now available as a native Nintendo Switch 2 release, alongside its version 1.6 update. Existing owners of the Nintendo Switch edition can upgrade free of charge, gaining higher frame rates and sharper visuals; the announcement confirms the Switch 2 version after a recent age-classification listing.

The update also adds public online lobbies across all platforms, allowing players to host or join Challenge Zone and Minigame Rush games. It introduces four new Challenge Zone modes, customisable advanced rules including Multi-Brick Purchase, Series 29 minifigures, and assorted bug and performance fixes.
