Leaked images suggest Lenovo is developing three devices for Google’s forthcoming Googlebooks initiative: two laptops and a detachable 2-in-1 tablet. The leak matters because it offers the first indication of the hardware that may accompany Google’s Android-based successor approach to ChromeOS, and suggests the platform may extend beyond conventional laptops.

The devices reportedly include two laptop sizes resembling Lenovo’s Chromebook Plus 14 and a tablet with kickstand and keyboard, all in white and carrying Googlebook branding. They appear to feature a “Glowbar” light strip, while port configurations vary between models; Google has said Googlebooks will launch later in 2026 with Lenovo, ASUS, Dell and HP among its hardware partners.
