Levoit has launched the Vital Pet Pro Air Purifier, a £189.99 device designed specifically for pet owners struggling with animal odours and fur. The purifier addresses a widespread problem by combining targeted filtration with intelligent design features, offering a more effective solution than conventional air purifiers for managing pet-related air quality issues.

The purifier features a three-stage filtration system comprising a washable pre-filter for larger debris, a main filter for smaller particles and dander, and an activated carbon filter containing 140 grams of carbon to eliminate odours. It employs a U-shaped air inlet to capture airborne pet hair whilst improving airflow. Testing revealed the device effectively collects fur and reportedly removes up to 70% of odours within an hour. The companion app provides multiple modes, including Pet Mode which cycles between 15 minutes of high-speed operation and 60 minutes of low-speed maintenance to balance performance with noise reduction. The purifier uses a simple colour-coded system (red, orange, green, cyan) to indicate air quality rather than numerical readings, and includes automatic pre-filter cleaning that collects debris in a removable tray.
