Liam Neeson’s New Action Movie Is Officially One of His Worst-Rated Movies Ever

Liam Neeson’s latest action film, The Mongoose, has received a poor early score from critics, raising doubts about whether it marks a return to form. The film has a 29% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, placing it among his lowest-rated recent releases, though audience reactions appear more positive.

Directed by Neeson’s longtime stunt double Mark Vanselow in his feature debut, the thriller follows a war hero accused of a crime he did not commit who leads police on a long car chase. It also stars Marisa Tomei, Ving Rhames and Michael Chiklis, and debuted last weekend. Neeson’s earlier film The Fix earned 16% from critics and returned less than $2 million after a limited theatrical release.
