Lindsey Buckingham has raised the prospect of a Fleetwood Mac reunion in 2027, when the band’s landmark album Rumours reaches its 50th anniversary. He did not confirm any performances, but said a forthcoming documentary had helped the group heal past tensions, making a reunion appear more plausible.

Speaking at Variety’s Power of Young Hollywood event, Buckingham said he and Stevie Nicks were now “talking all the time” after previously being in a poor place. Buckingham last performed with Fleetwood Mac in January 2018, and suggested that several developments connected with the band could emerge next year.
