Lollapalooza Shortens Wolf Alice and Cortis Sets, Delays Several More Amid Intense Flooding

Variety · 3 hours ago

Lollapalooza delayed the opening of its third day in Chicago after heavy overnight rain caused flooding and muddy conditions across Grant Park. The disruption led to cancelled, postponed and shortened performances, although the festival’s main headliners Olivia Dean and Jennie were not affected.

Doors were initially delayed from noon to 2pm CT, then to 3pm, while organisers cleaned the site. Cortis were moved later and cut from 50 to 40 minutes, while Wolf Alice’s set was moved from 3pm to 4pm and reduced from an hour to 30 minutes; Sunday’s final-day schedule was still expected to proceed as planned.

  • Flooding delayed Lollapalooza’s third day until 3pm.
  • Wolf Alice and Cortis received shortened sets.
  • Olivia Dean and Jennie’s headline slots remained unchanged.
