Lucky Number Unveils First Image Of Hiam Abbass In Psychological Thriller ‘Daughter Of Eden’ – AFM

Sales company Lucky Number has released the first image of Hiam Abbass in *Daughter of Eden*, a London-set psychological thriller preparing for an international sales launch at the American Film Market. The debut feature by Iranian British director Fateme Ahmadi follows a nurse’s search into her family’s past under Saddam Hussein, exploring how political persecution and inherited trauma can blur the line between justice and revenge.

Yasmin Al-Khudhairi plays a British Iraqi nurse who suspects one of her patients may be linked to what happened to her parents in Iraq. Abbass plays the patient, with Amir El-Masry and Lindsay Duncan also in the cast. Lucky Number will screen a first promotional reel at AFM while the filmmakers complete the film; it is produced by Shudder Films, Lunapark Pictures and Newgrange Pictures, with funding and support including the BFI and BBC Film.
