Major League Soccer has become a strategic partner for *Baton*, a football drama written, directed by and starring Danny Ramirez. The agreement is MLS’s largest collaboration with a feature film so far, giving the production access to the league’s marketing reach across the United States and Canada as it moves into post-production.

The film centres on a player returning to Miami after being removed from his college team, before pursuing a potentially career-changing place at the MLS College Showcase while facing conflict with his sister over their mother’s legacy. Its ensemble includes Maia Reficco, Lewis Pullman, Eugenio Derbez, Camila Mendes, Becky G and Rosario Dawson, while David Beckham is an executive producer through Studio 99.
