Man City and Aston Villa to face holders PSG in Champions League

Paris St-Germain will face Manchester City, Aston Villa and Barcelona in the Champions League league phase, while Arsenal have been drawn against Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. The draw creates several high-profile fixtures for English clubs and will help determine who progresses directly to the last 16.

Each of the 36 teams plays eight different opponents, with four home and four away matches, between 8 September and 27 January 2027. The top eight qualify automatically for the last 16, teams ninth to 24th enter a play-off, and the final will be held at Madrid’s Metropolitano Stadium on 5 June.
