Man found dead on Disneyland property near entrance to ‘Happiest Place on Earth’

A 65-year-old man was found unconscious and later pronounced dead on a sidewalk on Disneyland property in Anaheim, California, near the resort’s south entrance. Police said they found no signs of trauma or foul play and that the death appeared to be from natural causes; the coroner’s office will determine the cause.

Police responded shortly before 1.45 pm on Sunday after receiving a report of an unconscious man. His identity has not been released. Officers said he had previously been known to the department’s homeless outreach team, but those contacts were not related to arrests or criminal activity. A beer can was found nearby, though investigators did not know whether it was connected to his condition.
