The United Kingdom will host the G20 summit of advanced economies in Manchester in November 2027, with Prime Minister Andy Burnham welcoming global leaders including Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping, and Javier Milei. This marks a significant international event for the UK, and Burnham has championed Manchester's role as host, emphasising the city's distinct identity and historic opposition to the slave trade.

The summit will be held at Manchester Central convention complex, a former railway station in the city centre. The UK will assume the G20 presidency from the United States, which currently holds it and will host the preceding leaders' summit at Trump's resort in Florida in December. Invitations will be extended to all G20 members, including Russia, despite diplomatic tensions following the invasion of Ukraine. Other G20 events will be hosted across various locations throughout the UK during the year-long presidency.
