Mandy Moore has previewed her new Hulu series "The Land," a family drama about an NFL team ownership dispute that reunites her with "This Is Us" creator Dan Fogelman, describing it as a blend of "Friday Night Lights" and "Succession." Speaking alongside promotional work for children's education app ABCmouse, Moore discussed how she balances technology use with her three young children and addressed speculation about a music comeback following her friend Hilary Duff's return to touring.

In "The Land," which also stars Christopher Meloni, William H. Macy, Chloe Bennet and Chace Crawford, Moore plays the daughter of a team owner determined to inherit control of the franchise, a role she calls playing "an absolute bitch." She said the cast underwent "crash courses" in American football and that the series shot in Los Angeles. On music, Moore said she has no plans to emulate Duff's stage comeback, insisting she lacks the "canon of hits" for a pop career, though she suggested she and her musician husband, Taylor Goldsmith, may tour together once their children are older.
