Explained simply
Marvel's Wolverine is an upcoming PlayStation 5 exclusive developed by Insomniac Games, the studio known for creating the Spider-Man video games. The game centres on Logan, commonly known as Wolverine, and focuses on his combat abilities and personal story.
The game is part of a larger ecosystem that extends beyond the game itself. Insomniac has created connections with other Marvel properties, including a crossover with Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls and a prequel comic series that explores Wolverine's past missions. These tie-ins build out the world and story context surrounding the character.
The game emphasises customisation and character progression through unlockable Wolverine suits with different designs and visual styles. Players progress through a story-driven campaign with combat-focused action sequences. This approach aims to deliver a comprehensive Wolverine experience for both casual players and dedicated fans of the character.
