Meghan launches wicker ‘hostess basket’, including flower sprinkles, two scented candles and three types of herbal tea – just days after Buckingham Palace unveiled festive hampers
Meghan Markle’s As Ever brand has launched a festive “Hostess Basket”, entering the Christmas hamper market shortly after Buckingham Palace revealed its own hamper collection. The products extend As Ever’s holiday range and put the two royal-associated brands side by side as they sell seasonal gifts.
The wicker basket contains peppermint and lemon-and-ginger teas, three spreads, flower sprinkles and scented candles; its price has not been announced. A similar As Ever set costs $155 (£117), while Buckingham Palace’s Sweet Treats Hamper costs £70, and its customisable hamper starts at £45. As Ever’s wider collection also includes chocolates made with Compartes, parlour cards and a US-only chocolate advent calendar priced at $148 (£111).
