Bloodstock Open Air has announced Mercyful Fate, Electric Callboy and Motionless In White as the main-stage headliners for its 2027 festival. The announcement was made during the 2026 edition at Catton Park, signalling the first major bookings for the festival’s 26th year and giving fans an early indication of its international metal focus.

Mercyful Fate said they were honoured to return to Bloodstock and indicated they expect to have a new album released by then. Electric Callboy will headline the festival for the first time, while Motionless In White complete the initial trio of headline acts. The current 25th-anniversary event features Lamb of God, Saxon, Slaughter To Prevail and Judas Priest as headliners.
