MI London held London Spirit to a tie in an eventful Hundred women's match at The Oval, with all-rounder Hayley Matthews conceding just three runs off the final three balls to seal the dramatic finish. The result gave the south London side their first points of the season after three straight defeats, lifting them off the bottom of the table above Birmingham Phoenix, while Spirit moved up to fourth after a win, a loss and now a tie from their opening three games.

Batting first, MI London posted 151-4, led by an unbeaten 49 from 32 balls by Melie Kerr, supported by a late unbroken stand of 54 with Chinelle Henry, who struck 33 off 12 balls. In reply, Amy Jones top-scored with 49 for Spirit, but they lost Jones and Marizanne Kapp in quick succession before needing nine off the final set. Deandra Dottin hit a boundary and picked up singles, but Matthews dismissed Nadine de Klerk and restricted the scoring to leave Spirit finishing on 151-5, tied with MI London and marking only the second tie in the competition in three years.
