Miley Cyrus has signed with Atlantic Records, moving away from Sony Music's Columbia Records to Warner Music Group, representatives confirmed to Billboard. The move ends her long association with Sony, which began in 2013 when she signed to RCA Records after leaving Disney's Hollywood Records; the news was first reported by Variety.

While at Columbia, Cyrus released 2022's live album Attention: Miley Live, 2023's Endless Summer Vacation and 2025's Something Beautiful, the latter peaking at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. Endless Summer Vacation featured "Flowers", which spent eight weeks atop the Hot 100 and won two Grammys. Across her career she has notched 13 top 10 Hot 100 hits, including two No. 1s ("Flowers" and 2013's "Wrecking Ball"), and five Billboard 200 chart-toppers. The label change follows a busy year for Cyrus, including receiving a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in May and marking Hannah Montana's 20th anniversary in March.
