A 31-year-old Ukrainian man carried out a stabbing attack at a Benedictine monastery in Jarosław, Poland, injuring five people, including three priests who remain in critical condition. The incident has prompted heightened security measures across the town, with schools and local institutions advised to increase vigilance about building access.

The attack took place at approximately 9:30am on the monastery grounds, with the assailant stabbing four men and one woman before being arrested by police. Three of the injured priests are reported to be in life-threatening condition and have been hospitalised, whilst local sources suggested one victim may have died, though this remains unconfirmed by authorities. The incident represents another violent attack in Poland, following an axe assault at Warsaw University the previous year.
