Netflix, Bengali Streamer Hoichoi Partner to Bring Series to Hindi, Tamil and Telugu Audiences

Netflix and Bengali streaming service Hoichoi have agreed to bring Hoichoi series to Hindi, Tamil and Telugu audiences. New titles will stream on Netflix in those languages as they debut in Bengali on Hoichoi, extending the platform’s reach and adding licensed programming to Netflix’s catalogue.

The deal covers every Hoichoi series launched over the next two years, as well as 14 existing shows spanning crime, mysteries, horror, drama and romance. The first new release, folklore horror series “The Cursed Temple of Kauriburi”, arrives on 6 November. The companies will also develop original adaptations of selected Hoichoi stories, produced by Hoichoi Studios; further details are yet to be announced.
