New Pentagon UFO files detail FBI agents’ sighting of silent triangular object with no visible engines
FBI agents reported seeing a silent, black triangular object hover above a mountain ridge in 2026, then accelerate into a canyon. Newly released Department of War records include an FBI account and a separate assessment by the Pentagon’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO); neither identifies the object or establishes its origin.
The object was estimated to have a wingspan of 9 to 15 feet, with no visible engines, rotors or exhaust. AARO’s report says it climbed about 200 to 300 feet, hovered for around 20 seconds and vanished into a canyon within two to three seconds; its speed was estimated by witnesses, not measured. The reports differ on the encounter’s duration, and the records also include older accounts, including a 1957 radar contact near Saudi Arabia.
In short
- FBI agents reported a silent triangular object in 2026.
- AARO says it hovered for about 20 seconds before vanishing.
- The reports do not identify the object or measure its speed.
