UK singer-songwriter Nieve Ella has announced her debut album, ‘How Long Will It Take?’, due for release on 16 October via Artist Theory. The record is presented as an exploration of growing up, emotional recovery and the repeated setbacks involved in finding one’s way, following Ella’s rise through viral pop releases and a strong online connection with fans.

Ella has also released the album’s new single, ‘Standing On A Pane Of Glass’, which she describes as portraying her emotional low point and “hitting rock bottom”. The song was made with producer and co-writer Jamie Rendle and band member/co-writer Finn Marlow, while its video was directed by Millie Jamieson-Pon; the 11-track album includes songs such as ‘Drive’, ‘Bite Back’ and the title track.
