Octo Octa and Eris Drew, DJ duo and life partners, will release their first collaborative studio album, Alchemical Sisters, on 18 October via Interdimensional Transmissions. Despite years of working together, the pair had not previously produced a full-length record as a duo, and the self-titled album marks a notable step in their joint output.

The eight-track LP was recorded in a home studio the couple set up in the bedroom of their New Hampshire cabin, using hardware instruments to create what they describe as "psychedelic chaos, acid rollers, and big beat". Octo Octa (Maya Bouldry-Morrison) released her solo album Sigils for Survival earlier this year, and the pair recently played a back-to-back DJ set at Amsterdam's Dekmantel festival, with a further date at Making Time ∞ in Philadelphia planned for next month.
