Old School RuneScape has officially recognised player Bosby after he reached level 99 Fishing by catching only shrimp and anchovies, among the game’s lowest-level fish. The achievement matters because it required an unusually slow, self-imposed method rather than the faster equipment and catches players normally use as they progress.

Bosby began the account, named OnlyShrimp99, on 11 May 2024 and finished the challenge on 7 August 2026 after 4,304 hours. He needed 13,034,431 experience points, catching 275,196 shrimp and 257,064 anchovies, and banked every catch as a record of the effort; RuneScape’s data team verified the accomplishment and shared commemorative artwork.
