Netflix's acclaimed teen romance Heartstopper has concluded with a feature-length finale film, Heartstopper Forever, which has been met with strong critical and audience approval. The send-off for Alice Oseman's young-adult series arrived the same weekend as the box office debut of Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, though it has still made a notable impact of its own by closing out one of the streamer's most celebrated LGBTQ+ coming-of-age stories.

The film follows Nick (Kit Connor) and Charlie (Joe Locke) as they confront the possibility that their futures may not include each other, with William Gao, Yasmin Finney and Corinna Brown among the returning cast whose own relationships are also resolved. Wash Westmoreland, known for Still Alice, directed from a script once again written by Oseman. At the time of writing, Heartstopper Forever holds a 93% critics' score and a 92% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, suggesting it matches the warmth and acclaim of the original series.
