Celtic chief executive Michael Nicholson says the club will support Martin O’Neill after three consecutive defeats made the manager question his future. Despite losses to Rangers twice and Ferencvaros, Celtic remain top of the Scottish Premiership, while O’Neill has won nine trophies across two spells at the club.

The backing came as Celtic reported a revenue fall of nearly £33m and a £4.8m loss. The financial setback is largely linked to missing out on the Champions League, including a play-off collapse against LASK after Celtic had built a 4-0 aggregate lead; the club will now target domestic success and progress in the Europa League.
