DC emo duo Origami Angel have released two new songs, "Play Around The Crit" and "Compound Eyes," continuing a steady stream of output since their acclaimed 2024 album Feeling Not Found. The pair have been touring extensively since that record and issued the standalone track "Back To Life" last year, with these fresh releases marking their latest offering to fans.

"Play Around The Crit," the lead single, takes its name from a specific attack move in the Pokémon video game series, while B-side "Compound Eyes" runs just over a minute long. Both tracks feature bright, polished production from singer Ryland Heagy, who also wrote the songs, and are out now via the label Counter Intuitive.
