Polygon has published a guide detailing where players can find outfits and hairstyles for their Ditto character in Pokémon Pokopia. These cosmetics, many modelled on gym leaders and trainers from earlier Pokémon games, are hidden as "human records" — items such as magazines, tablets, books and newspapers marked with a yellow sparkle — scattered around the game's deserted island setting. Once discovered, individual pieces can be mixed and matched freely via a mirror, letting players combine elements from different sets, such as pairing a Team Rocket hat with Super Nerd clothing.

The guide splits locations into two categories: those in fixed spots on Pokopia's main island, and others found only on the randomised Dream Islands. Fixed-location items include the Team Rocket, Ranger, Ninja, Psychic Master, Black Belt and Sailor outfits, plus hairstyles like Parted and Mermaid hair, spread across areas including Sparkling Skylands, Bleak Beach, Rocky Ridges and the Withered Wasteland. The guide was updated on 6 August to add cosmetics from the Bubbly Basin DLC, including the Mermaid, Preschooler and Triathlete outfits and Crested hair and Ponytail hairstyles, though Polygon notes one DLC item is still missing and will be added once located.
