BBC Sport · 3 hours ago

Crystal Palace have signed Israel international Anan Khalaili from Union Saint-Gilloise on a contract until 2031, reportedly paying £21m. The versatile 21-year-old can play at full-back or on the wing and brings Champions League experience as Palace prepare for a Europa League campaign.

Khalaili helped Union win their first Belgian Pro League title in 90 years and the Belgian Cup after joining in 2024, scoring six goals last season, including three in the Champions League. He is Palace manager Pierre Sage’s fifth addition, following the free transfers of Takehiro Tomiyasu and Oscar Mingueza, Dwight McNeil’s arrival in a swap involving Brennan Johnson, and Evann Guessand’s season-long return from Aston Villa.
