Patrick Clancy’s new wife, Dr Rachel Danis, has said they met while running in New York’s Central Park and described him as a selfless father and supportive partner. Their 60 Minutes interview is his first since the murder trial involving his former wife, Lindsay Clancy, whose trial ended in a mistrial after the jury deadlocked 11-1.

The couple married in April after Clancy moved from Massachusetts to Manhattan in May 2023, four months after the deaths of his three children, Cora, Dawson and Callan. Lindsay Clancy has acknowledged killing the children but pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity, citing alleged postpartum psychosis and over-medication; Clancy supported her during the trial and has since condemned online accusations and threats against him.
