Paul Ben-Victor Joins Vince Vaughn, Theo James & Patrick Schwarzenegger In ‘The Bookie & The Bruiser’
Paul Ben-Victor has joined the cast of The Bookie & The Bruiser as Mafia boss Generale Francesco Viscuzo. The film stars Vince Vaughn, Theo James and Patrick Schwarzenegger, and follows two war veterans whose profitable illegal gambling business draws them into a deadly conflict between the Mafia and an Irish gang.
Set in 1959 New York, Theo James plays Rivner, a Jewish bookmaker, while Vaughn plays Boscolo, his Italian-American enforcer; Schwarzenegger portrays twin brothers Augie and Bernard. S. Craig Zahler wrote and is directing the film, which is backed by C2 Motion Picture Group; Ben-Victor is also appearing in HBO Max/DC’s Lanterns and has several forthcoming Netflix and film roles.
