Paul W.S. Anderson Sets Film Adaptations Of Kevin J. Anderson Books ‘Nether Station’ & ‘Nether Vortex’
Paul W.S. Anderson will direct film adaptations of Kevin J. Anderson’s science-fiction horror novels *Nether Station* and *Nether Vortex*. The project reunites the director with cosmic horror, a genre he explored in *Event Horizon*, and centres on a young scientist facing an unsettling discovery in deep space.
The books follow Cammie Skoura, a brilliant, neurodivergent scientist on an expedition that finds ancient ruins and traces of vanished alien civilisations. Jonathan Wakeham will write both screenplays, while Anderson will produce with Jeremy Bolt and representatives of Weird Tales. *Nether Station* was published three years before *Nether Vortex*, which came out on 27 October.
