Peacock Just Raised Its Prices — Here’s How to Get It Free With Walmart+

Variety · 3 hours ago

Peacock has raised prices across all its subscription tiers, but Walmart+ members can still access the streaming service for free by exploiting a loophole in the retailer's membership perks. NBCUniversal's ad-supported Peacock Premium tier increased from $10.99 to $12.99 a month (or $109.99 to $129.99 annually), while the Premium Plus tier now costs $19.99 monthly or $199.99 a year, making the free Walmart+ route more attractive to subscribers.

Walmart+ costs $98 a year and bundles free access to either Peacock or Paramount+ as a membership perk, though users can only claim one service at a time. However, Walmart allows members to switch their chosen streaming provider every 90 days, meaning subscribers could rotate between Peacock Premium and Paramount+ Essential (normally $8.99 a month) to effectively get both services free over time. An annual Walmart+ membership works out $31.99 cheaper than a year of Peacock Premium alone, and the switch is optional — subscriptions default to remaining active if members do nothing when the window opens.

  • Peacock raised prices for all subscription tiers on 18 August 2026.
  • Walmart+ members get Peacock or Paramount+ free as a perk.
  • Members can switch streaming providers every 90 days to get both.
