Levi Davidson, a 40-year-old man, was shot dead at a memorial service in Acton, west London, in what police are treating as a homicide investigation. The shooting occurred during a gathering of over 50 people, including children, turning what should have been a time of remembrance into a tragedy. The incident took place just after 7:45pm at the junction of Braybrook Street and Erconwald Street in Acton. A post-mortem examination established that Davidson died from a fatal gunshot wound to the chest. Detective Chief Inspector Brian Howie is leading the investigation and is appealing for the more than 50 witnesses to come forward with any information about suspicious individuals, weapons, vehicles or footage from the time.
