Pink Floyd saxophonist Dick Parry left an estate valued at £50,000 following his death aged 83, according to probate records. The figure highlights the financial contrast between Parry, a long-standing collaborator known for his work on the band’s recordings, and Pink Floyd’s better-known members, whose fortunes are far larger.

Parry played saxophone on notable Pink Floyd tracks including those on The Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here, and also performed with the group on tour. Although closely associated with the band’s sound, he was not a core member and did not share in the same level of commercial ownership or earnings.
