Two arrested after footballer dies from Milton Keynes street assault
Hendon FC midfielder Ezekiel Williams, 26, has died after being seriously injured in a street assault in Milton Keynes, prompting a murder investigation. Police have arrested two men on suspicion of murder and a third on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Williams was injured on Midsummer Boulevard shortly before 2am on 1 November and died in hospital on Monday. The three men, aged 21, 28 and 30 and from Luton, remain in custody. Police are seeking witnesses and mobile phone, dash-cam or CCTV footage; Hendon FC postponed a cup tie in his memory.
