Push Square has asked readers whether they are satisfied with August 2026’s PlayStation Plus Essential games: Dying Light 2, co-operative adventure Big Walk and sci-fi horror title Signalis. The selection matters because it combines an extensively updated major release, a new game launching directly into the service, and a well-regarded cult hit.

Early poll results suggest a muted response: 47% described the line-up as disappointing or poor, compared with 25% who were very or mostly happy, while 26% called it merely okay. Dying Light 2 was the most anticipated individual game at 25%, ahead of Signalis on 16% and Big Walk on 9%; however, 44% of respondents said they were looking forward to none of them.
