Video footage obtained by TMZ shows Gerber appearing visibly under the influence during a tour of the facility on the evening of September 19, the night before his death, raising serious questions about the facility's admission and oversight procedures.

According to insiders, Gerber's sober coach arranged emergency weekend placement at the facility after he became concerned about losing control following drug use on Saturday afternoon, with plans to transfer him to a rehab facility on Monday. The facility's admissions officer reportedly accepted Gerber whilst being informed he was already intoxicated, and sources alleged he continued using drugs at the facility over the weekend. Gerber was found dead the next morning, and the admissions officer was subsequently dismissed from their position.
