Dundee head coach Steven Pressley has signed a new contract, saying it was the right decision personally and professionally despite warning that the club face a difficult period after losing several important players. His extension offers continuity after he led Dundee to eighth place in the Scottish Premiership last season, but he has urged supporters to be patient while a rebuilt squad settles.

Pressley, 52, replaced Tony Docherty in June 2025 and is believed to remain on a one-year rolling contract; his wife will now move back to Scotland after he spent almost a year living apart from his family.
