PUBG: Battlegrounds Gets K-Pop Girl Group Collab
PUBG: Battlegrounds has launched a collaboration with K-pop group IVE, bringing the group’s 2022 hit “Love Dive” into the game through themed locations, character looks, emotes and music videos. The crossover is available now on PC and arrives on consoles on 12 November.
Three locations inspired by the song’s music video, including IVE Mansion, appear on Rondo, while all six members are represented in character likenesses, outfits, accessories and weapon and gear skins. IVE Emote Stages are featured across six maps; two returning PvE modes also get tougher settings, with separate PC and console dates running from November into December.
In short
- IVE’s “Love Dive” collaboration is live on PC.
- Consoles get the crossover on 12 November.
- Two returning PvE modes are becoming more challenging.
Explained simply
PUBG: Battlegrounds is an online game in which players compete to be the last person or team standing on a large map. Its developer adds new content over time, including themed items and limited-time activities.
IVE is a South Korean pop group with six members, known for songs such as “Love Dive”. Collaborations bring music artists into games through visual designs, music and player actions, giving fans another way to encounter their work.
The crossover links IVE’s music and imagery with PUBG’s maps and customisable characters. It matters to players interested in either the game or the group, while fitting a wider pattern of music and gaming companies working together.
