Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble Shutting Down Less Than a Year After Launch

Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble has been cancelled before reaching a full global release, less than a year after its announcement. Its closure ends the mobile spin-off’s development during soft launch, despite a PlayStation blog post in July describing its testing phase as successful and saying a global launch was being prepared.

The final planned update is due on 6 November 2026, and the app will be removed from stores on 21 November. Existing players can continue until the servers close on 1 May 2027; in-app purchases have been removed, and players are advised to spend any remaining rewards or currency. Those seeking refunds are directed to Apple or Google Play support.
