Sarah Pidgeon Joins Netflix’s ‘Enigma Variations’ Post-‘Love Story’; Peter Hermann, Juliana Canfield & Francesca Cavallin Also Cast
Sarah Pidgeon has joined Netflix’s limited series Enigma Variations, taking the final principal female role opposite Aaron Taylor-Johnson. The adaptation of André Aciman’s bestselling novel will follow Paul, whose relationships over a decade shape his life, exploring masculinity, sexuality and modern love.
Pidgeon will play Chloe, one of Paul’s recurring partners, alongside previously announced Alicia Vikander as Claire and Riley Keough as Maud. Peter Hermann, Juliana Canfield and Francesca Cavallin have also been cast; Amanda Kate Shuman is writing and showrunning, while Oliver Hermanus will direct. Pidgeon’s casting follows her Emmy-nominated performance in FX’s Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette.
