Slash teases new Guns N’ Roses album: “There’s a lot of writing going down”
In a recent podcast conversation, Slash stated that Guns N' Roses has significant songwriting underway and aims to enter the recording studio. He described the band's approach as organic and straightforward, emphasising that the musicians enjoy performing together without rigid timelines or formal planning structures.
The band's recording timeline remains dependent on other commitments; Slash's collaborative album with vocalist Myles Kennedy is scheduled for February 2027, followed by touring obligations. Since the band reunited in 2016 with original members Axl Rose and Duff McKagan, there have been periodic indications of upcoming material, though the last complete studio album was released in 2008.
