Slim Or Fuller? Atelier Karia “Body Shape Change Feature” Confirmed

Gust has confirmed that Atelier Karia: The Night Kingdom & the Guide of Memories will let players choose whether Karia’s body shape changes as she eats snacks. The feature was added in response to community survey results and is designed to give players control over how she appears.

When enabled, her shape changes according to how much she eats; players can also lock a preferred shape. Turning the feature off prevents changes altogether. In the survey, 78.9% of respondents supported adding it. The game is due to launch on Switch 2 on 25 February 2027, and a separate fan poll named “Karia goes on a food tour” as the most popular short-story theme.
