Apple TV+ has released a trailer for Season 6 of "Slow Horses", teasing a deadly new threat against the Slough House team and the surprise return of Olivia Cooke's character Sid, unseen since Season 1 in 2022. Gary Oldman reprises his role as the acerbic Jackson Lamb, who leads his misfit spies into hiding after learning that former Slough House staff are being systematically targeted and killed, in what he calls "a blood bath."
The new season, directed by Adam Randall and adapted by Gaby Chiappe from Mick Herron's novels, premieres on 16 September and will release weekly episodes until 21 October. Slow Horses is a spy drama on Apple TV+ based on Mick Herron's novels, following a team of disgraced MI5 agents exiled to a dead-end unit called Slough House for their past failures. It stars Gary Oldman as Jackson Lamb, the unit's foul-mouthed but sharp boss, alongside Kristin Scott Thomas as senior MI5 figure Diana Taverner and Jack Lowden as agent River Cartwright.
