Small town hunts for tip jar crook after man in red hoodie stole family-run pizza shop’s hard-earned cash

A man in a red hoodie was filmed taking the tip jar from Rocco’s Pizzeria in Glen Burnie, Maryland. The family-run shop is asking the public to identify him, saying the theft affects its hard-working staff and the customers who contribute.

The jar held about $30 and was taken at around 3pm on 3 November while employees were preparing for the dinner rush. The owner’s nephew said staff discovered it missing after working in the back, then reviewed security footage; he also said the jar had been stolen before. Community members have expressed support for the pizzeria.
