‘Southern Charm’ Star Craig Conover Set for Indie Dramedy ‘Caroline Fletcher’ (Exclusive)
Craig Conover, known for Bravo’s Southern Charm, has joined the cast of independent dramedy Caroline Fletcher, directed by Ellyn Vander Wyden. The film has completed production in Massachusetts and marks a move into scripted cinema for the reality television personality.
The screenplay, by Daniel Blum, follows an 11-year-old girl who uses confidence tricks to navigate a working-class life shaped by crime. After her mother is arrested and a bully threatens her family, she attempts her largest scheme yet; the cast also includes Chris Elliott, Caroline Aaron, Drew Van Acker, Katrina Bowden and newcomer Kayla Anjali, while WME Independent is handling US rights.
