Sony Pictures has released the third and final trailer for "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," offering new footage of Tom Holland's Spider-Man clashing with Mark Ruffalo's Hulk ahead of the film's cinema release on 31 July. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the Marvel and Sony production arrives roughly five years after "Spider-Man: No Way Home" and depicts Peter Parker fighting crime alone in a New York that no longer remembers him, having erased himself from the memories of those close to him.

The film follows Parker as he devotes himself fully to being Spider-Man, but the strain of the role triggers an unexpected physical transformation that puts his existence at risk, coinciding with the emergence of a formidable new threat. The cast includes Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal and Michael Mando alongside newcomers Sadie Sink, Tramell Tillman, Liza Colon-Zayas and Marvin Jones II. The franchise's previous instalment set records, with its first trailer drawing 718 million views in 24 hours and surpassing 1 billion views within four days; the new film is written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers and produced by Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige.
