Sony/Marvel's "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" has crossed $1 billion at the international box office in just 12 days of release, making it the second-fastest film ever to reach that milestone abroad, behind only "Avengers: Endgame". The film now stands as the 12th highest-grossing movie of all time worldwide, with analysts suggesting it is on track to reach $2 billion globally in the coming weeks.

The Destin Daniel Cretton-directed film has amassed a global total of $1.67 billion ($654.3 million domestic, $1.013 billion overseas), becoming the 16th film to surpass $1 billion internationally. It topped charts in most of its 67 markets, aside from South Korea, where Universal's "The Odyssey" took the top spot. The film also set numerous territorial records, becoming the biggest Hollywood release ever in India and the top MPA title of all time in Brazil, Spain, Peru, Pakistan and the UAE, while its $144.2 million domestic second weekend ranked among the largest in North American box office history.
