The film has now become the highest-grossing release of the year worldwide, with a global total of $1.1 billion, overtaking Disney/Pixar's Toy Story 5, which stands at $1.07 billion. Its success underlines the continued strength of the Spider-Man franchise and marks one of the strongest box office runs in recent years.

The film's domestic five-day cume stands at $449 million, already the second-highest of 2026 stateside and on track to overtake Toy Story 5's $464.6 million tally. It also holds the record for the biggest domestic opening weekend ever ($360 million), the biggest Monday take ($47 million), and is the second-fastest film to cross $1 billion globally, behind only Avengers: Endgame. Overseas, its $706.3 million running total is the biggest foreign gross of any film so far this year, ahead of Toy Story 5 and other 2026 releases.
