‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day,’ ‘The Odyssey’ Battle Atop U.K., Ireland Box Office

"Spider-Man: Brand New Day" held the top spot at the UK and Ireland box office for a second consecutive weekend, taking £10.1 million ($13.6 million) and pushing its running total to $87.4 million after 13 days. Universal's "The Odyssey," directed by Christopher Nolan, stayed in second place in its fourth weekend, adding $4.8 million for a cumulative $82.6 million, as the two films continued to dominate cinemas.

Paramount's "Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie" opened in third with $2.2 million, while Disney's "Toy Story 5" and Universal's "Minions & Monsters" rounded out the top five. Further down the chart, "Andre Rieu's 2026 Summer Concert: Viva Maastricht!" and Disney's live-action "Moana" featured prominently, alongside new entry "Ice Cream Man" from Studiocanal. Looking ahead, upcoming releases include Warner Bros.' "End Of Oak Street" starring Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor, and A24's Anthony Bourdain feature "Tony" with Dominic Sessa and Antonio Banderas.
